Public Works also maintains and improves infrastructures and physical environment, while utilizing a highly skilled and motivated work force.
Message from the Superintendent
In the past year, the Public Works Department has condemned and demolished several abandoned buildings, used by drug dealers and users to distribute and use drugs. The demolishment of these buildings has cleared hideaways for drug activity and crime. This has brought about a beautiful change in the community. In 2017, we will continue to condemn and demolish buildings. We will also bring improvements to our streets by making advancements to our drainage systems, and paving and resurfacing roads to better serve our city from floods and potholes. Please take pride in keeping your neighborhood clean. It takes all of us to make it happen, therefore “Help Us Help You”.
