JOINT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO MOST WANTED ARREST |

On Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at approximately 11:30am, while working a joint operation with the F.B.I. and the Prichard Police Narcotics Intelligence unit located a most wanted fugitive at an apartment off of Azalea Road. Agent and Officer made contact with the owner of the apartment, Cachet Davis B/F 8/31/86. Where she stated that the most wanted fugitive Paul Burke was not on the premises.
While standing in the door, a strong odor of Marijuana was detected, and the owner acknowledged that there was a person in the apartment that had been smoking. Officer and Agent entered the residence, placing the owner under arrest where an altercation between the owner and officers began, where she was eventually secured.
After a further search, a six month old infant was discovered lying on the bed where a pungent odor was detected in the room and a small amount of Marijuana was discovered in the toilet, which it is believed was being flushed. While checking the rest of the apartment, the fugitive Paul Burke was discovered hiding in the closet. Mr. Burke is wanted on Federal and State Charges as a result of a joint investigation by FBI and Prichard Police Narcotics Intelligence Unit. The FBI task force is comprised of the Mobile Police Department, Fairhope Police Department along with the Prichard Police Department.
The Female is being charged with the following: Chemical endangerment of exposing a child Obstructing a Governmental Operation Resisting Arrest Possession of Marijuana It was also discovered that the female Cachet Davis is on State probation and has an active warrant for her arrest for a traffic violation by the Mobile Police Department.
