Burglary at Greer's Food Tiger on St Stephens Road

On 02-13-08 at approximately 12:30am Prichard Police received a call concerning a burglary in progress at Greer’s Food Tiger, located at 4731 St. Stephens Road. Upon

the officer’s arrival in the area they spotted the suspect at the corner of St. Stephens and

Lott Road.

The suspect ran and after a brief pursuit was apprehended in the parking lot of Compass

Bank in the same vicinity. The suspect resisted but was restrained. No one was injured in the process. The property from the store was recovered. The suspect used a metal cover from a water meter to break the entrance door glass.

The suspect, Nathaniel Brown, B/M 37 years old, from the Mobile area, have a history of

robbery, theft 1^st and drug charges. He was transported to the Metro jail and charged with
