Prichard police respond to robbery |

On April 08, 2008, prior to closing (9:00pm), the Prichard Police Department responded to a robbery to a business located at 3449 St. Stephens Rd. the Dollar General Store. Witnesses stated that 4 B/M’s entered the business and held employees at gunpoint and demanded money. Two of the subjects were armed with silver handguns. All four subjects were wearing blue jeans with black sneakers and hooded sweat shirt with mask. The subjects were last seen running across the parking lot into a wooded area. Approximately $3000-$3500 in U. S. currency was stolen.
On April 09, 2008, prior to closing (9:00pm), the Prichard Police Department responded to a robbery to a business located at 1627 Lott Rd. the Dollar General Store. Witnesses stated that 2 B/M’s entered the business demanding access to the store’s safe. One subject was armed with a silver revolver. Both subjects were wearing blue jeans with black sneakers and hooded sweat shirt with mask. The subjects were last seen running across the parking lot. Approximately $1500-$1700 in U. S. currency was stolen. PRICHARD POLICE IS LOOKING FOR A NEWER MODEL FORD RANGER PICK UP BELIEVED TO BE TEAL GREEN OR GREEN IN COLOR.
